HAVE A NICE DAY is a project by the artist JCT Li, which has been running since August 2010. It started out as a series of digital collages with random images of anonymous people from the Internet. The found images are processed with digital manipulations to such an extent that the characteristics become unrecognizable. This series can be perceived both as a form of digital recycling and as a satirical act in which our perception of aesthetics has been strongly influenced by the digitally altered images. In my newer and more abstract works, I aim to convey certain scenes to the viewer that trigger their own, vast imagination. The visual aspect of the work is engaging, almost physical.
