Under the scorching sun of a warm, sunlit day, a resilient man undertakes the arduous task of transporting water from a source to his destination. Balanced on his shoulders is a traditional yoke, upon which two large baskets are mounted, each brimming with the precious cargo of water. As the man moves with grace and determination, the weight of the water-filled baskets strains against his sinewy frame. With each step, beads of perspiration form on his forehead, a testament to his unwavering commitment and enduring strength. The sun's rays beat down upon him, and the air shimmers with heat, making his journey all the more challenging. The baskets, woven from sturdy material, contain water that sloshes and splashes as he walks. The liquid dances within, glistening like liquid diamonds under the radiant sunlight. With each rhythmic stride, a small cascade of water escapes, creating a transient and ephemeral artwork that defies the dry, thirsty earth. The man's journey is not merely a physical endeavor but a representation of the human spirit's resilience and adaptability. He shoulders the burden of providing for his community, an act of selflessness in the face of adversity. With each step, he contributes to the well-being of those around him. The warm weather, unforgiving and relentless, bears witness to his perseverance. It is a testament to the enduring spirit of humanity in the face of adversity, where the act of carrying water becomes a symphony of strength, grace, and resilience. In this moment, the man is a living embodiment of the indomitable human spirit, overcoming the elements to fulfill a noble and vital task.

Valentyna Rybkina was born in 1977. After graduating from National University with a Master's in Politology and Sociology, she started to oil paint in 2013 as a self-taught artist influenced by great artists like Aivazovsky. She invites you to remember with her paintings the sunny and happy places you may have visited or plan to visit again, to see how beautiful nature is. She hopes you can look at the colors of her painting, enjoy them, relax, and forget about your problems. Life is good ;) She is especially interested in oil landscapes (ocean and seascape) and has always been passionate about flowers - these are the main thematic focus of all her works.
