About The Artwork

Description/inspiration of work: This is a new series of creations comprising the Circulara Group - Sphaeralis Maxima Series. In this set of art works multiple mandala - like objects are developed into a colorful plasma - like appearance and then multiple iterations are stacked on top of each other, sometimes up to 12 layers deep. Different blending modes allow for the mixing and matching of different elements, that combine to form a 33 point tritriacontagon. Multiple iterative details can be seen and each is different. Intricate and precise coloration, tinting, and positioning work with this many iterations, makes developing these creations a VERY slow but enjoyable process. This next offering is titled - - 'Orbis Interatio 3'. This is best viewed from a distance, but up close, you can more easily enjoy embedded intricacies not apparent from farther away My Philosophy: I'm fascinated by colors, shades, tints, tones, and values. Shapes are another interest of mine as well. It is a definite challenge to combine all of the above concepts into a coherent piece of art. I also hope to improve and develop my skills to start depicting surreal landscapes and terrains. My most admired artist is Victor Vasarely The components are assembled separately and color matched by hand. My mediums of choice are Illustrator, Photoshop, Pixarra, and Corel Draw, with its attendant celebrated Painter. I use a Wacom tablet to paint, draw, and otherwise fill in my colors and components I employ the best print paper medium i can locally procure -- 210 - 300 gsm, archival cotton rag mostly, although some of my works look better with Matte paper. All of my works are printed Giclee style mostly, although I exploring the use of metallic inks on a few of my works. Future plans are to include fabric, and framing with my offerings. Thanks kindly for taking the time to view my work

Simple guy that's fascinated by shape, color and symmetry. I'm learning every day how shapes, symbology, tints and colors combine to create new and beautiful works of art that we all enjoy. I'm very open to learning new techniques developing abstract and geometric art. Please consider the above statement an opportunity to contact me and share your wisdom. thanks all for taking the time to view my work timothy
