The Multiverse There is more to the universe, Than what we can see and touch, There are infinite possibilities, And infinite versions of us, In the multiverse, There are alternate realities, Where the choices we make, Lead to vastly different outcomes, In some universes, We may be heroes or villains, In others, we may not exist at all, But in all of them, we are part of the story, The multiverse is a vast and wondrous place, Full of endless possibilities, And though we may never know, What lies beyond our own reality, We can take comfort, In knowing that we are not alone, In this infinite and ever-expanding universe. Yes, I think that philosophy and poetry are best done without the philosophers or poets. Only afterwards, when they are dead and gone, they become professional philosophers or poets. But I see you as a poet, not as a philosopher. Of course we are working in the field of cinema, but really what we're doing is something else. Philosophy in the ancient sense, like with the Stoics or the Epicureans, would take place in the forest around the fire, with wine. They were not professional philosophers either. Yes, I think the same goes for filmmaking. Filmmakers who become professional are losing something.

While Mark M. Whelan's art is primarily portraits and figurative pictures. However, his aim is not to represent a beautiful image of a person or an individual in a futuristic context; rather, it’s an ongoing exploration of the process of how art is created concerning its structure, composition, colour, and technique. Like many figurative painters of his generation, it’s impossible for Whelan to avoid the looming shadows of Francisco Goya, Francis Bacon, Hieronymus Bosch and Lucian Freud, all of which have dominated the figurative world, their paintings both evocative, emotional and full of existential angst and anticipation of an uncertain future. However, Whelan is finding his futuristic path into the light, away from these titans of the art world, his work constantly seeking to go beyond the discipline of representational art and the more gestural expressionism that we are familiar with in the figurative paintings of Bacon.
