At the Edge of the Storm Drawing

The work was inspired by the hot, dry summers in Goa, India. The trees are bereft of leaves and the grasses are dry straw. The scene depicts the moments before the arrival of a rainstorm. This painting was done using assorted brands of professional fine soft pastels on archival 160 gsm Fabriano Tiziano pastel paper made in Italy. It ships in rigid waterproof packaging, the painting protected by a sheet of glassine and sandwiched between foamcore boards. The painting has to be framed by passepartout and glass. It should be kept away from direct sunlight and from humidity.
