BOSEMAN THE GREAT Though a westerner He told beautiful stories about Africa Showed the world what we would have been If only our stars weren't plucked in their prime In rusty chains, his ancestors crossed 21 bridges A royalty in exile who never forgot his crown T'challa fought so hard for his dream and ruled the world with his art Even a dying vessel couldn't break his will A mere hero of the big screens you say But perhaps it is true that to be a hero you only need to act as one He's an African child, we have seven lives... The life of the great Actor Chadwick boseman inspired this piece. This portrait was made with mostly fingerprints to symbolize his imprint on the world and how he celebrated Africa through his art. Even a dying vessel couldn't break his will. Wakanda forever !
