The aborigines of Australia recognize that the real driver of reality are in the consciousness domains that Jung called in phases - the collective unconsciousness. Here we bump against ourself as other, in the psychic landscape where components were conceived at times that physicists and their artists describe as ‘plank - time.’ I believe though used from the name of Max Plank, the concept of a wooden plank is highly germane in meditational consciousness. The ancient Chinese or their connectives taught that the universe energetically is an ‘uncarved block’ by telling us that the world behind the scenes is an ecological one, perhaps very similar to our own. In there we would meet special archetypes geared to help us awaken and be wise caretakers of our friendly universe.

It has been said that the other is the creator, bridging the channeler or the maker. I believe the mind is a kind of storm, that imports all manners of phenomena. My interests are garnered from green energy, ecology and beings, so my illustrations attempt to pick up on those things from my view. I am a lifelong resident of the vast sagebrush ocean, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains just below Lake Tahoe. My mother placed a print of Picasso’s Guernica above my crib in the Redwoods of California where I was born. That explains my fear / desire dynamic in part - of my psyche, and why I love the beauty of architecture and gardens where peace may be obtained.
