About The Artwork
I love the feeling of being immersed in an installation or getting lost in a painting; I feel excited, even euphoric. My outcome is a comment on how viewing beautiful artwork makes one feel; the feeling of being overwhelmed, that feeling of drowning in beauty. The piece is quite literal and I have used materials such as sequins (which are a reoccurring motif in my work) because I have always found ‘sparkly’ items beautiful.
