About The Artwork

More than a pastel, this work is a mixture of technique: mostly, acids on magazine paper and collage. The work is glued on a sheet of quality paper (approximately 35x50 cm). The sheet is signed and a certificate of authenticity is added. About twenty years ago I developed a new technique, mixing oil pastels on glazed paper (mostly from fashion magazines) treated with acids, and collage. Lately, my style is tending to abstract, so mountains and skies are melting in a "strange" composition of signs. I often work while listening to jazz or classic music
