ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My obsession with Architecture & landscape being intertwined is the root of this work. With population & land price increase, dwellings will be more of the vertical types & if we need to control carbon footprint then landscape has to be part of the architecture whether its in the form of landscaped connected bridges or climbers growing along the towers. I also drew inspiration from the money plants in my apartment with buildings replacing the moss sticks.

I am an architect/ artist. residing in bahrain since the last 15 years.I use a lot of sketch pens & pencil / watercolours for my architectural renderings . This reflects in some of my art works also. Being an architect, heritage has always been of interest to me & more often than not it figures in my artworks also . However I also love painting landscapes also. I am a fan of the way the impressionists used colours. I am currently working on series called 'URBAN LANDSCAPES ", inspired by citi life & features a lot of roads & cars. Who says roads & cars can't be beautiful ?
