ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Hummingbirds are so fascinating. The way they move, their social behavior, and how we come to love them. I have feeders at my studio window and spend hours watching them. This little guy thinks he owns the feeders and is there as soon as the sun rises to dusk. Making sure every hummingbird in the neighborhood knows he rules. It is drawn on acid free board with Prismacolor pencil that gives you more dramatic blacks than graphite pencil. I hope this drawing will bring you joy as it does me. Thank you for your consideration.
