“No matter how smart you are or how educated you are, you can be tricked.” - James Randy 1928 - October 20, 2020. It is possible, and they deceive, and we ourselves are glad to be deceived because thinking and researching are much more difficult than believing in miracles or something magical. "The Magnificent" Randy or "Honest Liar" - the legendary illusionist and fighter against delusions James Randi, known, among other things, for his exposé of the paranormal and various pseudoscientific theories, putting forward your own hypotheses and creating many fictional characters. I first learned about him from a speech at TED many years ago. Amazing uncle, with the appearance of a wizard and magician! And not so long ago I met him, one might say, indirectly! We were sitting with friends in a Jaffa cafe, and at the next table sat the once legendary illusionist Uri Geller, who bent spoons and fixed watches. He showed us his talent by folding a 10 agorot (cents) coin. When asked to bend something more serious, he refused. Would you like to be deceived? Or would you rather know the truth?

I have been drawing since I can remember myself. In my professional career, until recently, I have worked as a designer, graphics & concept artist in the commercial & gaming industry for about 10 years. Losing my job around COVID 19, seemed to me as a good opportunity to become a “real” artist now. And so I was carried away by the portrait. Attracted to explore and express emotions that stand behind the eyes, lips, and facial structure, I got to understand myself in the relationship with the model, my work, and the viewer. I am in love with pastels in this period of my life. What is my plan? To explore, experiment, create! Commissions are available upon request. Pricing is based on size and content.
