About The Artwork

I spent a day at the Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum restoration hangar in Dulles, Virginia. This beautiful JRS-1 float plane was about to be restored. She was the last of her kind and had in her storied history survived Pearl Harbor. This was the view of her beautiful damaged tail before work began. Took me about two hours to get this down.
