About The Artwork

I always think about depth and spread in nature. Especially in this series of "Cliff Line" I explored the depth. Depth and perspective expression here are different concepts. I use blue to express the depth. It is the scenery of Japan that is drawn. It is a forest in front of a cliff.

I was born in Tokyo and grew up in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. I have studied painting since I was a child, and after graduating from Musashino Art University, I have continued to paint in oil, watercolor, and drawing. I have always been thinking about touch, color and structure in painting. My reference is Cézanne, the master of 120 years ago. I am groping my way through the realm of painting without literariness.
