About The Artwork

High above the sleeping villages à Rocket Runner has slowed time down that it lies beyond empirical data or explanation. In this domain - known as Uncommon Hours lies the freedom and the joy to manipulate reality on league with Higher Forces. It’s rewiring reality invisibly. On her design gear are two very cranky Primary Organisms - highly conscious and virtually omnipotent flowers in this case, which are not happy to be ensnared by her sensors. PO’s drive the so called evolution of their clades as they blow peacefully in the breeze, just outside the Christmas light festooned villages. As she shoots through the local universe she meets two interesting comets - one an Informational or Starseed carrier - waved being and another an Icicle carrier, its stalactites consciousness highly distributed while bracing for an eventual impact. They reflect their knowledge on the mirrored wreaths of icicles protecting the village, and are part of the joy she experiences from the abilities gained from her special powers.

It has been said that the other is the creator, bridging the channeler or the maker. I believe the mind is a kind of storm, that imports all manners of phenomena. My interests are garnered from green energy, ecology and beings, so my illustrations attempt to pick up on those things from my view. I am a lifelong resident of the vast sagebrush ocean, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains just below Lake Tahoe. My mother placed a print of Picasso’s Guernica above my crib in the Redwoods of California where I was born. That explains my fear / desire dynamic in part - of my psyche, and why I love the beauty of architecture and gardens where peace may be obtained. My recent favorites include Mary Wagner ( discovered here ! ) Alex Grey and Alex Ross ( Alexes :) ).
