She's left the room and climbed the stairs away from the merriment. She found an exit door to an outside landing and settles into a silent contemplation. Looking about under the night sky, she can see odd snippets of structures with the aid of artificial lighting emanating from nearby buildings and streetlights from below. She imagines the patterns as metaphors of her child rearing years. More and more patterns begin to appear and float away just as the events and years did. Whereas, she began this quiet time in a pensive state, she will return with a sense of peace and continue to participate in the celebrations with a much lighter heart.
