Memories Drawing

Here you see the painting “Memories” by the artist Brita Seifert. This woman, in mind, with a lily in her hand symbol of spiritual love, loveliness, purity but also the connection with death. This allows you to imagine that she has been through a lot but now feels safe under a blanket for warmth and protection. The painting has been older for a while, but then I got it in a gold-colored ornamental frame something happened. It came to life, perspective had come in, the landscape around the woman suddenly took on a certain meaning, the blanket was suddenly held at the top by something or someone through which I experienced the presence of another person. Which gave her security. I only saw and felt all this when that frame came around it. Amazing how picture frames have an influence on the atmosphere of a painting. I hope you can feel this too this makes the painting invaluable.
