Art Description

Drawing: Chalk, Pastel on Paper.

"I found a war painting of Jean Edouard Detaille (French Academic Classical painter born 1847 - died 1912) with a beautiful horse totally in panic. He gallops like a crazy horse with its rider who gives the load. I would like to give my interpretation of the expression of the horse and do my own painting in 2009."

::: Medium: watercolor, black chalk and pastels, finished with a varnish, signed on front
::: Support: paper on stretcher (without frame), sent rolled in a tube. Painting done on stretcher but I remove it for the sending (Don't hesitate to contact me if you want to keep the stretcher).
::: Size: 31.5 x 31.5 in / 80 x 80 cm
::: Year: 2009
