PAST TO PRESENT Drawing

As as artist ,am highly inspired by the ancient methods, materials,implements,techniques of work of the past , and trace their evolutionary path to the contemporary times we live in. Am forever fascinated by the ingenuity, versatility and adaptability of the human mind.and tend to explore the same in my everyday life. Also amazed by the sheer variety, color, structure, rich personality(if I may use the word) in every little thing we find in nature. The above artwork combines an expression of two of my favorite musings good food and our personal input to human history. Here it is the vegetables we eat, the ancient Indian vegetable chopping knife, where one has to sit down to chop, (which many in rural India still use) with some delicious mealplan in the making.The quaint earthern teapot is an add on.
