Penis Drawing

Title: Penis Size: 5 x 7 inches Medium: Ink on paper I’ve drawn a lot of nudes over the past 40 years. I often get asked if I ever draw male nudes because I am known for my work pertaining to the female nude. The simple answer is yes. I've worked often from the male model. The male body is just as beautiful as the female body, yet there seems to be a lack of appreciation for the male nude in general. The appreciation of the male body should be all-inclusive and be as it is with the female form. Everything in nature can be observed in many ways. We can choose to look at all the components of our subject at one time or at each component separately and admire the beauty in even the smallest detail. Nature rarely repeats itself, and like snowflakes, there are no two elements alike. These drawings are intentionally fragile, intimate and personal. The interpretation of these drawings belongs to the viewer for this kind of realism comes with the understanding that these works were created because the model decided to share something very personal and private with the artist. This drawing is from a new series I have begun work on this year, that I'm calling "Junk". As with the female body I do not and will not shy away from genitalia. This drawing is created in Rapidograph Ink and Liquitex Acrylic Ink on a high-quality acid-free 140lb watercolour paper. The work is signed. I provide a Certificate of Authenticity.
