About The Artwork

The artwork with Physalis is the original, which confirms the certificate of authenticity. The size of the work is 31x29 cm, without frame. The work is done in a botanical style with careful detail. I liked this berry for its expressiveness and texture, and I drew it in continuity. It will look very impressive in your interior, in the most prominent place, specially decorated in a beautiful laconic frame! I used high-quality materials, which will allow me to enjoy my work for many years. Thank you for visiting!

My name is Alisa Diakova. I am a professional Botanical artist and mother of three kids! I live and work in a small city of Ufa in Russia. I admire nature, it has so much inspiration! I can't stop being surprised by the color combinations and variety of shapes. Every season brings so much beauty: spring has buds, flowering fruit trees, and primroses; summer has peonies, roses, and various berries; autumn has vegetables, dry leaves, and chestnuts. Depicting plants, I try to convey the accuracy of the structure, with close attention to the smallest details. Character of nature is of great importance for me. The goal of my work is to show the beauty that surrounds us, to remind us that in the urban stone jungle we forget that nature is our place of peace, contemplation, it is harmony, and it must be cherished and loved! And that even the most inconspicuous leaf or dried berry can become a work of art! ⠀ I use high-quality watercolors with good light resistance and 100% cotton paper in my paintings. Despite the fact that I have an art education, I started painting seriously recently. Since January 2020, I have been a member of the Association of Botanical artists of Russia. I actively participate in exhibitions and competitions. Painting is my vocation! I found my direction, my style, and now it remains to hone technique and skill, and most importantly to implement as many ideas as possible! Thank you for your interest in my work!
