Lines There were numerous judgments and analysis around the series of works "Lines" created by G. Gyurjyan in 2013: related to the academic essence of the works, the trial to decline forms, perception of life. Nevertheless, it is worth to mention that these works are among most important, discovering ones where the technical problems are not principal and prior. The methods and forms of imaging should not be considered as steps towards achieving abstraction. In this format he is absolutely harmonic which helps him to deliver his inner experience and conceptual reflections maximally clear, as if he declines forms by erasing them with open and clear lines. Thus, he refuses the absolute and final depiction of the form. This happens, when someone delivers something important and precious to his mind to the paper and afterwards starts to delete it randomly, not abolishing everything, but hiding. For this reason this series can cause sense of security and relationship. In the same time Gyurjyan alienates the spectators from already familiar form of the painting by depicting same objects in different emotional states. Thus, he prompts us to think that different phenomena are not the same in different situations and artists notice that. An object can create a change in the perception of the artist which the observers also can feel. Siranush Kostanyan
