ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This artwork originated from a partially obscured handwritten message in chalk pastel on black paper. Due to the small size and fragility of the original artwork, it was developed into a giclee print using archival inks, on Hahnemühle German Etching paper. The giclee print was then mounted onto a cradled wood panel and sealed with lacquer. The message is no longer decipherable, and what is left resembles a series of intuitive marks or asemic writing. The artwork is ready to hang and does not require a frame.
