ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I’ve written a book based on my Egg people and Characters such as the Conspirators. It is a fantasy novel that takes place in Egg Island and London. The story has good and bad characters, full of excitement, sadness, and intrigue. Egg Island is a mysterious place where you can find all sorts of creatures, such as dolphins, including a giant one as big as a ship and one even bigger one that sleeps at the bottom of the sea. Baboons who think they own the place, firebugs light up the village, giant turtles protect kids while swimming, Bright orange coconut crabs with cat-like habits who like their belly scratched, and little bees with big eyes always share honey. Also, there are mushrooms that produce eggs. I was overwhelmed with the positive feedback I received from the editorial board. They described my work as "a most thrilling, absorbing and attractive read, well-written, and will captivate a wide audience." The board was pleased with the intriguing plot, which was well-conceived and developed alongside a fascinating cast of characters. I am excited to share my work and I’m already working on the next volume. All my Eggs hanging on walls worldwide will now have a new story to tell.

Ta Byrne is a Thai artist who lives and works on the beautiful island of Koh Samui, just off the south coast of Thailand. Her Oil Paintings . are vibrant, eye-catching and packed with a sense of fun and humour. Ta takes humans as her focal point in her Figurative Painting but abstracts these figures by distorting them and using a cartoonish style to create a more humorous feel. While her work is mostly representational, she incorporates Surrealist elements in many of her paintings, making her one of the most exciting artists working in Thailand today. Ta comes from humble beginnings, living out her childhood on the rural outskirts of Bangkok as a farmer's daughter. During her teen years, she worked sewing shirts in a Bangkok sweatshop, and it was during this time that she met an old street artist who invited her to his studio. This sparked her desire to become an artist, and since then, she has gone on to produce Abstract and Cubist paintings that have received international acclaim from art connoisseurs.
