ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The painting is painted in silver, black and white. It was inspired by a walk through the old town of Salzburg and the many famous churches there. The painting was part of the large festival exhibition Berchtoldvilla Salzburg. The silver sky gives you the feeling that it is day or night, depending on the light. The churches are painted in a graphic style like an ink drawing. However, it is not ink, but acrylic paint, which the artist applies in quick hand movements with a spray bottle and small squeegees. A visual representation of a feeling after a walk through Salzburg. The following churches can be seen in the picture: 1 St. Peter's Abbey Church 2 Müllner Church 3 St. Peter's Church 4 Salzburg Cathedral, left tower 5 Part of an old town church 6 Franciscan Church 7 Salzburg Cathedral, dome 8 Carillon, south side 9 Christ Church 10 Church tower of Nonnberg Abbey 11 Carillon, east side
