This pen and ink was inspired by one of my favorite places in NYC.. I love the vibrancy of Little Italy. I like to title my works, not by the overall subject, but by an inconsequential and almost un noticeable aspect. In this drawing, the fourth car down on the left has its trunk open.

I studied at The Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art in Newark ,NJ in the late 60s with a concentration in painting the figure in oils as well as sculpture. I've explored many mediums including airbrush, oils, pastel, pen and ink and graphite. I'm currently working primarily in ink getting inspiration from New York City street scenes.
