Summer Tree in Pink Drawing

This drawing using permanent marker ink pens was made on a blazing hot summer day inside Cambridge Botanical Gardens. I sat on a bench in the heat, sweat dripping off my brow, and drew the beautiful tree I saw before me. I wanted to capture the grace of the tree and the feeling of heat, so I chose hot pinks and reds as my colours. The colours have turned out really bright and vivid and plenty of people have commented on seeing it, saying it makes them feel good and lifts their mood. It is drawn on thick art paper, and comes unframed so you can choose a frame to suit your own taste. I really hope you like it.
