The dimensions shown are the dimensions of the white passe partout frame (see photos). Picture size inside - 11.7 x 8.3 in. I drew this structure from life, and I often looked at it as I drove through the industrial district to my art college. I was impressed by the scale of this structure, its power, its predominance over the world of the person who created it. This work is part of the series "Urban Mood", the pictures from which were created in different techniques, but united by a common theme and mood.

I was born and raised in Chisinau, the capital of a small post-Soviet republic, with the appropriate culture and aesthetics. My childhood began in the Soviet Union and ended in rebuilding (perestroika ). it was on this breakdown of two cultures that my generation and my art were formed. I have been drawing since childhood, I graduated the Academy of Arts in Chisinau. During all this time, I tried myself in very different techniques and forms, up to photography and scenography. Over time, I developed the easiest form and technique to convey my feelings from the time that shaped me, this is watercolor and colored markers. I like to express myself in easy language on serious topics. My themes are a contrast between the old Soviet architecture and everyday life and modern life that has burst into these realities. I will be glad to share my impressions and emotions through my art.
