About The Artwork
This is one of the most beautiful forms of architecture that I have ever seen. To my understanding the architect created a design that would not just simply allow light to pass through, but rather captures light. Moreover, the design looks to be organic with the environment. However, not representing any one specific group. So, it is a truly uniting style of architecture. The inspiration of the building came from many things, including Japanese baskets and Sufi whirling dancers. Therefore, there is this sense of fluidity the I feel as I look to this building and the petals that twirl around its structure.
