About The Artwork
The Mexican wolf is an endangered species threatened with extinction. She sits alert mirroring a vulnerable female nude. Wolves are a vulnerable species that could go extinct because of hunting, habitat loss and climate change. I chose the mannerist style to draw parallels between endangered animals and all living creatures, here woman and wolf. All my nude drawings are of New Yorkers who model live, in person.
