Things don’t necessarily feel coherent. There is this surreal psychedelic fog that has been lifted from the "user". It has been going on for years actually. User looks back and looks forward. There is reality in a plane of illusion. One of joy but absurdity as well, confusing, sick and calming at the same time. Danger or safety? Beauty or nausea? User is unsure. Addiction and recovery and the space and time a user needs to slog though it. Feel it. Work for it. Accept it. Sitting in an experimental growing up space. Many cannot venture there, and when they do they find turmoil laden with anger, fear and loathing. "DOC" is walking towards user, ecstatically joyous but also terrifying at the same time. Yellowed teeth, disco boots and a gesture that they may help, they may harm. User sits there, stuck in a different dimension and looks, tastes the air and tries to reach for something that is stable. Something that is safe. Calmly listens. "Birdy". Birdy sits, awaiting the next right thing or the next thing... right? Birdy is like a canary that has made it out of the coal mine. Blackened, safe and hopeful for a clean future.
