About The Artwork

This drawing the first draft to a larger painting. It is inspired by the Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershoi and is a part of the art project Sink About It Copenhagen. The buildings show the criminal's entrance (Fangeporten) to the Copenhagen Court House. This painting will be a reminder that no court will be spared when thousands of liters of unstoppable glacial water are heading our way. This is one of my first drawings, for the Painting IN JUST ITIA is a creation of a specific image or series of images, forming the whole or part of a composition which I intend to complete by adding pigment color (paints, colored inks, etc). This denotes a completed stand-alone autonomous work. The work is already forming, who is this girl with one square and another round oar? Meaning of The Lady Justice Symbol The blindfolded girl represents objectivity and impartiality, that justice/ should be meted out without fear or favor, regardless of money, wealth, or power. She holds oars to represent the weighing of evidence, the evidence must be weighed on its own merit. The aim of the law is the establishment of what is legitimate; provide legal security and prevention of unjust actions. Justice has only four major dimensions: Social Justice Economic Justice Political Justice All these forms are totally interrelated and interdependent. We need Climate Justice.
