About The Artwork
Photographic installation in the corner of the wall. Original photos made of fresh fruits (grapes, berries) around and coming out from vaginas; printed on graphic backlit. The installation is set up to be applied in a corner of the wall; more details will be provided directly. As the material fully reflects the light you can get more visual effects by placing the installation close to a light source. The right fruit is going on after the first works at SVA, NY. These works manifest my personal vision about the right of personal freedom by celebrating lesbian love and sex. To say that the essence, longing, appearance, need of love are the same. Through my work, made by paintings, photos and installations, I reverse the concept of the forbidden fruit. Here the forbidden fruit becomes the right fruit: to enjoy - to perceive the fullness of our nature, of our being.
