About The Artwork

The "CapilloCollection" was originally intended as an attempt to capture the most diverse wishes of people for something lasting, So I created a form of portrait installation with photos and hair of simple and prominent people from all over the world. It was a great pleasure that even the Italian star tenor Luciano Pavarotti joined in this work of art. if you approach these glass shrines, due to the special mirror effect created by the highly polished metal back walls of the CapilloCases, faces appear as if from out of nowhere and you can imagine what an impression this will make on our descendants, since not all the people captured years ago in this human mirror are still among us today. The fact that the so-called "CapilloCases" retain some hair of each person makes this portrait form unique in its kind.
