George Herman "Babe" Ruth Jr. (February 6, 1895 – August 16, 1948) was an American professional baseball player whose career in Major League Baseball (MLB) spanned 22 seasons, from 1914 through 1935. Nicknamed "The Bambino" and "The Sultan of Swat", he began his MLB career as a star left-handed pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, but achieved his greatest fame as a slugging outfielder for the New York Yankees. Ruth established many MLB batting (and some pitching) records, including career home runs (714), runs batted in (RBIs) (2,213), bases on balls (2,062), slugging percentage (.690), and on-base plus slugging (OPS) (1.164); the last two still stand as of 2019.[1] Ruth is regarded as one of the greatest sports heroes in American culture and is considered by many to be the greatest baseball player of all time. In 1936, Ruth was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame as one of its "first five" inaugural members.

Papa Osmubal (aka Oscar Munoz Balajadia Jr) is a poet-artist residing in Macau-SAR, China. He is also into occidental calligraphy, doing both modern and old (classical) scripts. His most recent art exhibition, called 'Hide and Seek', a two-man exhibition with fellow Macau artist Leong Fei In, was in September 2022, sponsored by and held at Creative Macau, the Center for Creative Industries, Macau-SAR, China. His book called 'Capampangan Roots' is the winner of the 2017 Philippine National Book Award, Language category. He has an MA in English Studies from the University of Macau (Excellent),and a post-graduate diploma in education from Universidade de Sao Jose (graduated with a Grade Point Average of 19, with 20 being the perfect grade). As an artist, he has done a number of group and solo art exhibitions. His writings have appeared in various anthologies and publications, online and hard copy. He is the author of the book series on the roots of Kapampangan language, O Jo Nu'Ca Menibat, published by Center for Kapampangan Studies of Holy Angel University in Angeles City, Philippines.
