Art Description

Installation: Paper, Paint, Ink, Digital and New Media on Other.

Mixed media triptych work featuring some of Glasgow's most loved sculptures . The Duke of Wellington, The Citizen Firefighter and the Buchanan Street Police Box. The works are cut and created by hand from MDF, newspaper, paint, ink, media gel, charcoal and chalk. The colours in these works are created by the newspaper article photographs underneath the ink image. For example, the copper colours in the Citizen Firefighter are created by an image of the Scottish comedian Billy Connolly. It is not created using paint. There is a slightly glossy look to certain parts of the work in certain lights. Paper continues around the edges so these works are ready to hang. Signed on the rear and side.
PLEASE NOTE: Each board is 60cm x 60cm x 5cm individually. Together they have a width of 180cm.
