About The Artwork

"Guide to Man (i) kin (d)?" is an Installation made up of 16 volumes of the Konversations Meyers-Lexikon (ed.1998) encyclopedia, 12 small porcelain sculptures, and two glass jars. It is an analysis of the relationship between the rational and the sensible world, between the Dionysian and Apollonian, between art and science, in the perennial and constant question of the meaning of life. This installation is part of the exhibition "Therapy Of Living", collateral event of the 15^ Biennale di Architettura di Venezia.
