About The Artwork

hand weaving is a very painstaking work that requires patience, effort and accuracy. During the weaving process, you need to be very careful, any extra thread can distort the pattern. I used acrylic and woolen threads in my work. Each color scheme consists of threads of different colors and shades. The tapestry is made in mixed media. Some sections are woven with pile. This work is dedicated to my father, as a sign of respect for his perseverance, diligence, in gratitude for the endless love and care for me. After all, saffron is a symbol of eternity and great power, nobility. in the center of the composition is a young girl hovering over a saffron field. We can say that this tapestry is our portraits with my father. He is like a huge saffron field, and I, his child, grown with great love. The work is in the collection of the Azerbaijan Fund.
