Life and death Print

I try to describe this work, but it will not be easy as it has its roots in a very unique feeling that I experienced in connection with the death of people dear. These were old, on that occasion I had the feeling that they were child. It was not an hallucination, but it was a feeling that I felt towards them. The dominant feeling was up of tenderness. Death takes away not only an old, but a lifetime rich of experiences, a person that one day he was a child, the joy of own parents, a child with a future and thousand projects. What dies is not just a poor old man, but all these. A further interpretation of this work I made, following further reflections on the death of these two dear people: I do not have children, and in truth in these years I have not felt the need except at time of these deaths. On this occasion, for the first time I would have liked to have a child. This link between life and death I think is in the Darwin's theory of evolution. Death only makes sense if it is functional to the continuation of the species. I believe that this link between life and death is very strong, it is biological link.
