Someone gave me a pair of skis with bindings. Blizzard Sigmas. Wonderful ski. Covered in rust, cobwebs. Refurbished them and added an originality. Avoiding enslavement to Brands, National Colours, TV pap, identity, &c.. Not easy. A most difficult project. The greatest difficulty was finding the correct order of work. Thickness of paint affected torque of binding bolts! Eventually, and only eventually, I worked it out. Functions upon a steep, dangerous mountain. Edges tested on ice. Golden Eagles' habitat. I have met them too, eyeball to eyeball. Where I ski does not pretend to be Gstaad. I leave it to Gstaad to pretend to be Gstaad. Ships with bindings. Rated at 15 kilos total. No guarantee if used. Some chips, cosmetic damage. Needs readjustment if not U.K. size 9 boot, and possibly servicing if used rather than put on a wall.

Lowborn, lacking Luxury Beliefs, but not inverted snob. Orphaned, outcast, male, straight, white, capitalist (a tiny fish in a very big pond). In long term and friendly relationship. Irrelevant, pragmatic, singular, evolved, authentic, ironic, sardonic, sceptical. I realise some of these classifications could go against one. Definitely not intersected. Comparatively deprived early life, including exclusions, which has had life-long permanent effect. Not least in being grateful, for what I've got, and for any opportunities that I can both recognise and take. These themes within some of my works. Never faked a sarcasm too. Personally loyal to those who have tried or helped me. Rather than advance their own interests. And vice versa. What else is a man of honour to do? Really enjoy painting, sometimes. Thank you for your interest.
