1970s Soul In Black Motion No.1 Artwork

In the 1970s soul music and dance joined together to create a decade of getting dressed up. going out and dancing your ass off in a disco or night club. It was the decade soul music exploded all over the world. A thumping bass was the heart of the music. Add some strings, guitar or what ever you fancied and you had a music that powered a whole decade of excess on the dance floor, its peak being reached by the famous disco Studio 54 in New York where the stars from Michael Jackson to Elizabeth Taylor got down on the dance floor and nothing was to wild. I hope this series of pictures capture that time I was just lucky enough to experience myself for real. I still close my eyes, put my headphones on and transport myself back to a time I will never forget. Its gone now but I hope my pictures carrying the spirit. Michael G Quain
