HEARTED WELCOME DEAR ALL, Vitaly Didenko is my name and I believe that a huge part of my understanding toward the value of art lays in my fundamental art education. I guess I am an artist from birth (bit of a natural :) thanks to my creative heritage after my father. See me as the one with classic heir to the Russian school of painting which in turn has its roots in Western Europe. I graduated from Academy of arts in Turkmenistan, specialized in ceramics. Besides my main degree, I studied design at the art institute, and did a year at architecture academy in Novosibirsk, Russia. Given that I come from a family of artists, education is what I chase since my birth. Sometimes it is very tiring, but education maximizes artist's possibilities to realize creative idieas. Nevertheless, I was born and raised in the Central Asia region, which has always dominated decorative art forms and I was fortunate to learn the techniques of pottery and carpet weaving from early on. All the above naturally shaped and contributed greatly to help me in my work. I really hope that I have a recognizable style but seriously speaking, I cannot draw or paint in one certain style. That did upset me till I was about 25, but now I understand that it is actually an advantage that I have - I can do different things and I don’t care about art gallerists and critics who might rebuke me for not having a personal style and shall therefore refuse to exhibit my artwork. I am drawn to emotional figurative technique with subtle signs of social-realism. My secondary direction is to experiment with materials, silicon, wood, textiles and so on. Here I try to work with abstract shapes, colors and light. As for inspiration, it is a very separate issue requiring a huge effort to at all describe it, but if you talk about it in a nutshell, the subject of inspiration is very ambiguous and contradictory. Much in my case due both the modern ideas in the society contrasting with examples from the history of past centuries. And no matter how cliche my words may come across, obviously love plays a big role in my creative life, as well as its absence. All in all, I would say that inspiration is not a form and it does not exist in the way people, who are not involved in art, portray. Only daily hardwork brings good results. U gotta live and breathe every composition, every brushstroke and every idea and only then the work of your brain and hands can create a masterpiece.
