I was inspired by listening to music and watching dancers move gracefully. My intent was to capture the twirling movement and the interconnectedness of the two bodies. I hope viewers will feel the rhythm. I chose acrylic paint and collage because I wanted to integrate pieces of sheet music with the painting. I used lots of layers of thin paint. The checkered paper at the bottom is to suggest a ballroom floor.
