The "Gyeol Series" is an exploration of the true essence of life, revealed through emptiness rather than filling. Nature operates in simple cycles, narrating the philosophy of emptiness to modern individuals constantly craving something. The process of shedding the unnecessary to discover essence is depicted as polishing or scraping away. The granite dough placed on canvas is played through repeated acts of emptiness, creating a harmony of chance and non-chance. The remaining forms constitute robust amorphous shapes, symbolizing the completion of a resilient and beautiful life imbued with true value.
