KUNAIEVA MARYNA, visual artist, Ukrainian artist of contemporary art . "I embrace life, simple and complex, and show the extraordinary and multifaceted nature of the universe that surrounds us." The thematic focus concentrates on simple things that are the basis of everyday life and at the same time are an integral part of complex life. The surrealism of my works emphasizes the incompletely known world and the large number of secrets hidden beyond our sight. An experiment is important for me. A unique combination of styles and techniques, the search for the new and extraordinary. I write my works on paper as well as on canvas in the "mixed" technique, I use different materials (acrylic, markers, felt-tip pens, pencils, ink... etc.) which gives me the opportunity to work and experiment with lines, forms, volumes and create different effects of space and combination of picture elements. It is important to attract the attention of the viewer, to have a non-verbal conversation and to convey new ideas and a new vision of simple things. "It is important not only what seems so at first glance." An early passion for drawing gave me the impetus to search and experiment in various fields of creativity, art school, fashion design, interior and landscape design, management in the field of light industry design. The key point in choosing painting as a professional hobby was the understanding that painting in all its creative manifestations is the greatest freedom to create and experiment. My artistic path is a long-term search and interest in the latest and extraordinary. The search for self-expression that has evolved into my art form, my own style.
