I have been making abstract digital art on a small scale starting in the mid 1990s. At the time I was a vinyl DJ in New York City playing around various underground bars and introducing what I and many others monikered as Lounge Music. A very eclectic mix from various decades and genres. One of the genres was "Space Age Bachelor Pad Music." In the same spirit, I would sit for hours and draw on the computer while listening to such music. I named the series "Art for a Cyber Age Bachelor Pad" - My brushstrokes and algorithms were influenced by the various strange and unconventional sounds coming from these avant-garde instrumentals from the 1960s. Due to limited computing power and storage at that time, my paintings were small, basically less than 11x14 inches. More recently I have been creating much larger images which I can print on my large plotter, on various substrates, including canvas. As you can see in one of the views, Instead of stretching the canvas onto a frame, I opted to suspend it like a scroll, with two simple bars, one on top and one on the bottom. A very simple yet elegant solution. However, I intentionally designed a sufficient black border to the image that you can have it stretched locally at an art supply store or framer. Certainly, this type of Art is suitable for many more than simply Bachelors. :)

I have been a prolific photographer ever since I took the first photography course in an art curriculum in high school back in 1975. My many careers have included being an International Flight Service Manager for TWA; a Marketing Manager at Eastman Kodak company, where I was at the right place and at the right time to be the first person to ever take a digital photograph outside of the engineering departments. I am also a very eclectic artist constantly seeking new ways to create images, using unconventional inks, substrates, and combinations of processes to create art pieces from as small as 8x10 up to 60 inches on the shorter side. If you see works here that you would like to see in sizes other than those posted, please let me know.
