MultitasKing is a piece that refers to the many distractions that the internet offers us, but it also refers to the contemporary human condition of lack of time and procrastination, and it has become really difficult not to fall into depressive states especially for the younger generation when we are constantly hammered by personalities and such a competitive world that forces us to be as productive and multitasking as possible, in order to achieve the very high levels of social approval that the so-called influencers have established, we often lend ourselves to starting many things and completing only a few in the spasmodic pursuit of the plastic lives that social media throws at us.

Nicolas Crocetti (born 1995) is an Italian multidisciplinary artist. His artistic research spans different areas of interest and encompasses multiple media including photography, painting and installation. His conceptual works are made with the intention of triggering reasoning and dialogue with the public on issues and criticalities that distinguish contemporary society. My research is based on the conceptualization and extrapolation from reality of elements and themes that distinguish the contemporary era with particular reference to the relationship between individuals, reality and virtuality. My work is characterized by an initial in-depth study of the issues that subsequently converge in a conceptual investigation that manifests itself through a multidisciplinary artistic practice that refuses to elect and oppress itself through a single medium. The narrative I propose aim to present reality in a different form in order to develop a starting point for a dialogue on contemporary themes between the artist, the work and the public
