Peaches and grapes - Limited Edition of 1 Artwork

My passion for old art as Rococo, Baroque and Renaissance is reflected in the most of my artworks. This is original gobeline embroidery and this is the only one. Still life, nature morte inspired by baroque and rococo artworks. One of my first embroidery works from 2002. When I create that type of artwork, for me it is very important that images of fruits must looks so vivid and juicy, that viewers get hungry when they look at artwork. This gobelin embroidery is 100% handmade freestyle interpretation. Freestyle embroidery artwork is based on mirroring of what you see, which colors of threads you choose, how you mix threads in different colors with each other and wich way you stitch through the canvas in order to build a depth. It is just like painting with oil but on the thread way. All my artworks is made in the old, forgotten Bulgarian technique that I would love to revive in my artworks. This is 100% hand embroidered work on canvas count 16 that is almost the smallest you can find. It is made without any use of scheme only hand drawing under. Approximately 83.800 hand stitches and 1675 hours of hand stitching to complete this artwork.
