Please see my profile for separate listing. This is a great work for any music lovers collection. The print is printed on high quality Epson Metallic Photo Paper, using Epson ultrachrome ink. A self-taught contemporary surrealist, MADA looks to capture life between our physical and digital realities using a unique blend of photography, sketch, digital tools, and oil painting to produce psycho-ecstatic dream states. Each piece aims to interpret or create a mythology around his subject. Finding that mythology always requires music, wine, and exploration through mixed media techniques. Toggling between digital and oil allows for intense pallets and abstract dreams to live in our organic reality. Mada’s individual style was influenced by Spanish art and psycho-dynamic dream theory while studying in Spain in his 20’s. Salvador Dali and Sigmund Freud are foundational inspirations to his work. As an organizational psychologist by day, art emerged as an escape from personal and work realities but has evolved into a journey of self-discovery connecting all aspects of his life. With his studio currently based in Washington DC, Mada can be found traveling the world, immersing in new cultures, and meeting interesting people with a wide array of life experiences and perspectives, all of which continue to influence his work.
