Sunflower in the Wind Artwork

I met this beautiful gal one day while on a bike ride. She was stunning. Those buttery yellow petals, deep green leaves and strong sturdy stem. I just had to stop. I jumped off my bike and said, "hello".  No reply. Hmmm... Maybe she didn't hear me. I tried again, "hello there." Silence. I decided to get a little closer. As I walked over, a gust of chilly autumn air blasted us both. She fought hard against the wind. I felt bad watching her struggle like that.  Finally, when the wind died down she turned and smiled. She told me of her constant battle with the wind that day. It had completely exhausted her. I told her how fantastic she looked and asked if I could take a picture. She agreed. As I snapped the photo, another blast of icy air rushed past. I caught her in the midst of her fight to stay upright. After showing her the pictures she decided to commission a portrait. This is the final result. It was painted, by hand, into a computer using a drawing pad and pen. No software was used to create the painting for me. It was done completely by me, as if painting on a canvas.
